Description
English: How a glowstick works.
  1. Plastic casing holds both chemicals.
  2. Inner glass vial holds Hydrogen Peroxide.
  3. Phenyl Oxalate and fluorescent dye solution.
  4. Hydrogen Peroxide solution.
  5. The chemicals react when the inner glass vial is broken and the solutions mix, causing them to glow.

Français : Fonctionnement d'un Glowstick:
  1. Tube étanche de plastique contenant les réactifs liquides.
  2. Capsules de verre contenant du Peroxyde d'hydrogène en solution.
  3. Solution de dihenyloxalate et de colorant fluorescent.
  4. Solution de Peroxyde d'hydrogène.
  5. Lorsque la capsule de verre est brisée, le glowstick brille.

Deutsch: Funktionsweise eines Leuchtstabs:
  1. Kunststoffröhre schützt die Chemie im Inneren.
