Русский: Икона из праздничного чина иконостаса Благовещенского собора Московского Кремля. Н. В. Лазарев отмечал интересное изменение, внесённое в этой иконе в традиционную иконографию Рождества Христова: славословящие ангелы помещены не в левом верхнем углу композиции, как мы это обычно находим в византийских изображениях, а представлены склоненными около яслей, к которых покоится Младенец. Тем самым они становятся прямыми участниками акта поклонения Новорождённому, что вносит совсем новый, более интимный эмоциональный оттенок в изображенную сцену. Позднее М. В. Алпатов указал, что мотив ангелов, поклоняющихся Младенцу в яслях, имеется во фреске на ту же тему в церкви Перивлепты в Мистре.

Lazarev note un changement intéressant dans cette iconographie de la Nativité du Christ : les anges glorieux ne sont pas placés dans le coin supérieur gauche de la composition, comme on en trouve habituellement dans les images byzantines, mais sont présentés inclinés près de la mangeoire dans laquelle repose l'enfant. De cette façon, ils deviennent des participants directs dans l'acte d'adoration du nouveau-né, ce qui apporte une nuance émotionnelle complètement nouvelle et plus intime à la scène représentée. Plus tard, M.V. Alpatov a souligné que le motif des anges adorant le bébé dans la chambre d'enfant est visible dans la fresque sur le même sujet dans l'église de Periplepta à Mistr.
