Sarig‘ chehrang desang har lahza yuz javri havodisdin,
Xarob o‘lg‘on dilimda yuz tuman g‘am dardu pinhondur.

Berurlar keldi qish deb har dami yuz ming tuman qayg‘u,
Buzuq ko‘nglum kibi maskan manga bu ko‘hna vayrondur.

Ham ul atfollarkim, bo‘lg‘usidurlar manga dilband,
Biri telpak, etuk deb qilmoq ishi ohu afg‘ondur.

Zaruriy asrudur bu barcha ish, holim erur mushkul,
Qadim xam, qarz xavfi ostida mundoq ko‘zim qondur.

Mushavvash xotiri zorim demang mug‘laqdur ash’orim,
Sarig‘ yuz muncha g‘amdinkim emas albatta nodondur.

Manga dushvoru sab’ o‘lmish bu holat xisravi olam
Muruvvat birla boqsa holima bu ishlar osondur.
