I compiled the translations from http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSora=1&nAya=1&nSeg=1&l=mal&t=mal. The website is maintained under the order of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and there is permission to redistribute the contents for "dakwa and research purposes". There are already free distributions of the same translations in http://www.islamware.com/ and http://www.iiu.edu.my/deed/quran/malay/. Aviator 12:58, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Dakwa is actually dawah in Arabic and it literally means invitation. The term Dawah is used to describe a class of operations that spread information of the Islamic faith. In this case, the publication of the words of the Quran and its translations could be classified as dawah. Aside, dakwa seems to be a term in malay, not arabic or english.

Translation

These translations of the words of the Quran are in the Malay language. There should be a note saying so.

Further, the arabic is illustrated on these pages. The transliterated pronunciation should be included instead of the malay translation. And if a translation is to be included, it should be in english, as this is an english wikisource (if I am not mistaken).

I can only react to your last point: this is a multilingual wikisource, which means that multiple languages, including English and Malay, may have their sources on this wiki. Of course, English texts have a preference for the English Wikisource. --Ooswesthoesbes (talk) 20:13, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
