Grants Coordinator, Wikimedia Foundation

About me

I have been volunteering in Wikimedia since 2014 and have designed and supported different global campaigns and programs for bridging the gaps in cultural heritage and gender on the internet and Wikimedia. I love learning about the community ideas and collaborating with the projects supporting the free knowledge mission.

My work

As Grants Coordinator, I support the Grants Admins and Community Resources team to facilitate grants to individuals, groups, and organizations all around the world who are engaged with the Wikimedia projects and movement. Previously, with the Community Resources team, I have supported the Wikimedia Foundation Grants as Junior Program Officer. Prior to this role, I have worked in the Communications Departments as Community Brand Project Coordinator to support the Movement Brand Project. Prior to this, I have worked in the Movement Strategy team as Community Strategy Liaison for the Hindi and South Asian Wikimedia communities to ensure participation and engagement of the diverse constituents and stakeholders of our movement with inclusiveness and diversity towards Wikimedia 2030 vision.
