Add topicHello రహ్మానుద్దీన్, welcome to the multilingual Wikisource! Thanks for your interest in the project; we hope you'll enjoy the community and your work here.
This wiki is the original Wikisource wiki, originally hosting works in many languages. The larger collections have been spawned into separate projects, leaving this wiki to serve as a central collaboration point, and as an environment where works without a language subdomain can be started. Refer to our languages list to see which languages still reside on this wiki. You can find a list of the separate language projects on the main page or here and you may want to look at the our coordination page for limitations on placing certain works on the separate language projects.
Most questions and discussions about the community are in the Scriptorium.
The Community Portal lists tasks you can help with if you wish. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page!

[edit]Hello రహ్మానుద్దీన్, yesterday I welcomed 88 new contributors but to-day they are so numerous that i can't welcome them separately any more. So I write it here: welcome to all who partake of this marvellous work :-) --Zyephyrus (talk) 16:06, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you Zyephyrus! --రహ్మానుద్దీన్ (talk) 16:17, 2 July 2015 (UTC)

Ramayana
[edit]- FYI, "User:RahmanuddinBot" seems to be adding Devanagari pages of the Ramayana in what I assume is the original Sanskrit to the multilingual Wikisource here when it should be adding them instead directly to the Sanskrit Wikisource: "sa:wikisource:रामायणम्." Nicole Sharp (talk) 19:14, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
- Unless the text is in Hindi or another Devanagari-written language? Hindi apparently does not have a subdomain yet on Wikisource. I am unfortunately not skilled enough to differentiate and the text uploaded does not seem to have any metadata explaining the origin or content of the text. It is also labeled as "Ramanama," not "Ramayana…?" Nicole Sharp (talk) 19:24, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
- This is a Hindi work, Ramanama. Its not Sanskrit work. There is no hindi Wikisource. Apologies for missing out on adding language category to page. I thought language code in index template adds that! --రహ్మానుద్దీన్ (talk) 19:44, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
