[edit]The author died only in 2005, so this book is still copyrighted both in the country of origin (Austria) and in the United States. See also Index:Die_Judenfrage_in_Deutchland_1936.djvu and all of the linked pages. -- Robert Weemeyer (talk) 09:12, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

Book of Mormon in mirandese
[edit]The following pages Lhibro de Jaron, Depoimento de oito testemunhas, Depoimento de trés testemunhas, Lhibro de Enos, Lhibro de Jacó, Lhibro de Mosias, Lhibro de Mórmon, Lhibro de Mórmon (seçon), Lhibro de Éter, Lhibro de Ómni, Libro de Enos, Libro de Mormón - Lhibro de Alma, Libro de Mormón - Lhibro de Heilamana, Libro de Mormón - Lhibro de Moróni, Libro de Moróni, Palabras de Mórmon, Purmeiro Lhibro de Néfi, Quarto Néfi, Segundo Lhibro de Néfi, Terceiro Néfi are in copyright violation. They pretend to be written in mirandese (a nearly dead peasants' language with no written literature). In fact they are a machine translation by [1] of a portuguese version of the Book of Mormon. No portuguese version of the Book of Mormon is known to be in the public domain. In fact, the LDS Church is known for keeping all its translations of the Book of Mormon with all-rights-reserved as long as the law permits. According to this the first translation of the Book of Mormon into portuguese is from 1939, not enough old to be in the public domain. Unless the person who created the said pages translated the original english version (1830) into portuguese and then fed the latter to the machine, they are most probably a derived work of a source such as this one. These pages were most probably created by Chabi, who by the same time filled mwl.wikipedia with machine translations of encyclopedic content, amongst which all mormon related articles one can find in it. Nuove Canzoni Abruzzesi
[edit]- 1 and 2 should be deleted, since published in 1923, even falling under the Public Domain in Italy, they may not be in the PD in the US. Rationale: >1923, and the book was still not in the public domain in Italy by 1996. Thanks--C.R. (talk) 18:22, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
